The Centre for Ideas: Pop Up Education Centre.

The technical drawings were to represent the 'aura' of our project within the old GTV9 studios of
22 Bendigo Street, Richmond.

Existing Floor Plan

I completed these drawings using watercolour and then Photoshop. My intensions of the design proposal was to use warm colours and soft materials to contrast with the existing cold and hard materials of the site.

The above drawings were trial plans, using water colour and overlaying on Photoshop.

I was inspired by this drawing from the Drawing Architecture Blog: http://drawingarchitecture.tumblr.com/post/22719060178/ground-plan-of-the-storyfactory-toni-schade

Initial Concept Design 'aura': I wanted the soft felt materials of the triangular reading pods within my proposed design to create a warm, fun and playful environment.
